just a place to dump my rom configs, film scans, and whatever i'm working on right now. built this without any modern frameworks because i missed when the internet actually looked like something.

got a bunch of songs named after flowers but besides that i'm a bit lost.

emulation configs

keeping track of my hardware bs so i don't forget what i did next time it breaks.

[04.28] finally fixed the mapping conflict with the usb controller in the amiga setup. took way too long.
[04.29] realized you actually need a custom bios for some of these regional roms. updated the path in config.ini.
[note] gonna have to dig through old forums to find the original documentation for the audio chip synthesis parameters.

language notes

random observations on regional japanese dialects from stuff i'm transcribing.

tag: aomori

it's wild how much they compress their vowels here compared to standard tokyo intonation. completely changes the rhythm of casual sentences.

tag: niigata

found some really weird archaic vocabulary still being casually used out in the rural areas. dumping the transcription notes here later.
